前    言

Preface

       中國民營經濟國際合作商會創辦《中外民間交流》簡報，其目的是在全球抗擊新冠病毒的背景下，讓國外民間組織和廣大朋友通過這一窗口，更多地了解中國和全球抗擊疫情的一些動態，以及在抗擊疫情中的專家觀點、經驗分享、衛生常識、企業合作和防護物資需求等相關信息，成為中外民間組織交流合作的一個平臺。簡報每周兩期，希望她能夠為大家帶來一些新信息、新情況、新渠道。愿我們通過交流成為好朋友、好伙伴！

       The purpose of "The Brief Report on non government exchanges between China and foreign countries",  which was compiled and printed by China International  Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, is to let foreign non-governmental organizations and friends know more about the trends of China and the world in the fight against the novel coronavirus  through this window, as well as experts' opinions, experience sharing, sense of common health care knowledge,  information on enterprise cooperation and demand for protective materials, to make it becoming a platform for exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign non-governmental organization. We hope it can bring you some new information, new situation and new channels. May we become good friends and partners through exchanges!

       China’s COVID-19 epidemic map

       5月11日，中國累計確診84450例，現存確診274例。共有17個省無現存確診病例，昨日新增20例，7例為境外輸入。
       By 11th May, the number of total confirmed cases is 84,450, while existing cases is 274. No existing case in 17 of 34 provinces. 7 of 20 new case were imported cases during last 24h.

       5月11日，全球確診410萬例，死亡28萬例。
       By 11th May, global total confirmed increased to 4,101,482 cases. Global total deaths increased to 282,700.

       Global COVID-19 epidemic situation

      （1）全球確診病例突破410萬，死亡人數突破28萬。
       The number of COVID-19 cases surpassed 4,100,000 globally and more than 280,000 people have lost their lives.
      （2）截至5月11日，俄羅斯已連續8日感染人數破萬，總感染人數已超20萬，躍至世界第五。
       Russia has reported 11,012 new COVID-19 cases on 10th May, raising its total number of infections to 209,688. The single-day increase has been over 10,000 for eight consecutive days in the country, the center's data showed on 11th May.
      （3）5月7日，聯合國啟動人權響應計劃，向醫療衛生水平薄弱的國家提供67億美元的援助。
       The United Nations on 7th May launched an updated COVID-19 Global Humanitarian Response Plan that requires $6.69 billion to help fragile countries cope with the pandemic.

       Chinese Economic Development

      （1）中國經濟預計在第二季度反彈，但外部不確定性和疲軟的全球市場仍會產生一定隱患。
       China's economy will continue to rebound in the second quarter but the recovery pace may be constrained by external uncertainties and a global downturn, therefore stronger domestic policies are needed to ensure a steady recovery for the rest of the year, economists said.
      （2）5月9日，承載著300噸抗疫物資的中歐班列從武漢駛出，支援塞爾維亞首都貝爾格萊德。
       A China-Europe freight train carrying epidemic prevention and control supplies left Wuhan, Hubei province, bound for Belgrade, the capital of Serbia on 9th May.
       The train left Wujiashan railway container center station carrying almost 300 metric tons of anti-epidemic supplies worth more than $15 million, according to Wuhan Asia-Europe Logistics, the operator of the train.
      （3）上半年受疫情影響嚴重的國內旅游市場在五一期間表現良好，共有1150萬人次出行，消費475.6億。
       The domestic tourism market, which sustained heavy damage from the novel coronavirus outbreak, turned in a respectable performance during the extended, five-day May Day holiday, tourism officials said.
       The Ministry of Culture and Tourism said the holiday saw 115 million trips, generating 47.56 billion yuan in revenue.

       World Economic Trends

      （1）英國將推出五級管控系統,便于民眾對每日疫情狀況有所了解，為接下來的復工做準備。
       The seriousness of the United Kingdom's novel coronavirus outbreak will soon be described by a constantly updating sliding scale, so people can see at a glance whether things are improving or worsening.
       The five-point threat-monitoring system was scheduled to be among items unveiled by Prime Minister Boris Johnson during a televised address on 10th May.
      （2）4月份，疫情對美國經濟產生日趨深遠的影響，失業率增至14.7%，創下二戰以來峰值。
       US employers cut 20.5 million jobs in April as the coronavirus pandemic hit the economy and sent the unemployment rate to 14.7 percent – the highest since World War II, the Labor Department reported 8th May.
      （3）國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)5月8日暗示可能下調全球經濟預估，并警告美國和中國不要重啟貿易戰，這可能削弱從新冠病毒大流行中復蘇的勢頭。
       The head of the International Monetary Fund on 8th May signaled a possible downward revision of global economic forecasts, and warned the United States and China against rekindling a trade war that could weaken a recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.

       5月9日，中國的銀保行業監管機構對商業銀行的線上借貸業務作出了規定，努力更好地為居民和小微企業提供金融服務，降低金融風險。
       China's banking and insurance regulator issued draft rules on commercial bank's online lending business on 9th May, in an effort to satisfy the financing needs of residents and small businesses and reduce financial risks.

Expert Advice

 

       世界衛生組織疾病傳播專家彼得·本·恩布雷克聲明，新冠病毒從屬于蝙蝠身上發現的病毒組。
       Peter Ben Embarek, a WHO scientist who studies animal-to-human transmission of diseases, said that the novel coronavirus belongs to a group of viruses that are found in bats on 9th May.

       China private enterprises are taking action!

       5月8日，中國汽車加工公司萬向集團向美國芝加哥市捐贈了25萬只口罩和3萬副面部防護用品，支援抗擊疫情。芝加哥舉辦了一場簡短的歡迎儀式表達感謝。
       Chinese company Wanxiang Group, a Chinese automotive components manufacturer, have donated 250,000 face masks and 30,000 face shields to the central US city of Chicago on 8th May to assist its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The City of Chicago hosted a brief ceremony at the downtown United Center to receive the donated anti-coronavirus supplies.

       ·武漢市衛健委第一次在簡報中將“未知原因造成的病毒性肺炎”更名為“新冠病毒造成的肺炎”。
       ·中國疾病防控中心、中國醫科大學和中國醫科大學武漢病毒所向世衛組織提交了新型冠狀病毒的基因序列，這是世界首次。
       ·國家衛健委向世衛組織分享了新冠病毒的基因序列。
       ·The Wuhan Municipal Health Commission changed the name of "viral pneumonia of unknown cause "to "pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus" for the first time in a briefing.
       ·The China CDC, the CAMS and the WIV under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), as designated agencies of the NHC, submitted to the WHO the genome sequence of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), which was published by the Global Initiative on Sharing All Influenza Data (GISAID) and shared globally.

       ·國家衛健委召開會議指導武漢在碼頭、車站和人流密集處采取更進一步的社會管控、體溫檢測和人群疏散措施。
       ·港澳臺地區代表團來武漢考察（至1月14日）。
       ·武漢市衛健委在官方網站更新疫情信息，截至1月12日已報告41例新冠肺炎病情。
       ·世衛組織在官網上發布泰國新型冠狀病例的發現，指出中國對基因序列的分析使得更多國家能快速識別病患。
       ·The NHC held a meeting to instruct Wuhan authorities to further strengthen social management measures and body temperature monitoring of people at ports and stations, as well as reduce crowd gathering.
       ·Delegations from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan visited Wuhan (until Jan. 14.)
       ·Wuhan Municipal Health Commission updated the outbreak briefing on its official website, saying Wuhan had reported a total of 41 cases of pneumonia caused by the novel coronavirus as of Jan. 12.
       ·The WHO issued on its official website a statement on the discovery of the novel coronavirus cases in Thailand, pointing out that China's sharing of the genome sequence enabled more countries to quickly diagnose patients.

       ·國家衛健委召開電話會議，安排湖北省和武漢市加強疫情防控，要求全國做好疫情預防和響應。
       ·The NHC held a national teleconference, making arrangements for Hubei Province and Wuhan City to strengthen epidemic prevention and control, while ordering the whole country to prepare for epidemic prevention and response.
