Preface

       中國民營經濟國際合作商會創辦《中外民間交流》簡報，其目的是在全球抗擊新冠病毒的背景下，讓國外民間組織和廣大朋友通過這一窗口，更多地了解中國和全球抗擊疫情的一些動態，以及在抗擊疫情中的專家觀點、經驗分享、衛生常識、企業合作和防護物資需求等相關信息，成為中外民間組織交流合作的一個平臺。簡報每周兩期，希望她能夠為大家帶來一些新信息、新情況、新渠道。愿我們通過交流成為好朋友、好伙伴！

       The purpose of "The Brief Report on non government exchanges between China and foreign countries ",  which was compiled and printed by China International  Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, is to let foreign non-governmental organizations and friends know more about the trends of China and the world in the fight against the novel coronavirus  through this window, as well as experts' opinions, experience sharing, sense of common health care knowledge,  information on enterprise cooperation and demand for protective materials, to make it becoming a platform for exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign non-governmental organization. We hope it can bring you some new information, new situation and new channels. May we become good friends and partners through exchanges!

       3月31日，中國累計確診82223例，現存確診3006例。共有7個省無現存確診病例，30日新增30起，全為境外輸入。
       By 31st March, the number of total confirmed cases is 82223, while existing case is 3006. No existing case in 7 of 34 provinces. 30 of 30 new case were imported case during last 24h.

       （1）全球確診病例突破72萬，死亡人數突破3.4萬。
       The number of COVID-19 cases surpassed 720,000 globally and more than 34,000 people have lost their lives.
       （2）3月27日，美國確診人數超中國，居世界第一
       On march 25th, the number of COVID-19 cases in US have surpassed the number of China. US became one of the most impacted epicenter of COVID-19 epidemic
       （3）包括英國王儲查爾斯王子和首相鮑里斯·約翰遜在內的多位世界政要相繼感染病毒。
       Many political leaders, including UK Prince Charles and prime minister Boris Johnson, have fall ill caused by COVID-19.

       （1）3月26日，習近平出席G20峰會并號召世界各國共同抵御疫情。
       On March 26th, amid the mounting risks the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak has brought to the world, President Xi Jinping's call for "an all-out global war" against the pandemic at the recent G20 Extraordinary Leader's Summit on COVID-19 has great relevance to addressing the global public health crisis.
       （2）截至3月28日，中國76%以上中小企業相繼恢復生產。
       China has made considerable progress in speeding up production and resumption of work, as over 76 percent of small and medium-sized companies had restarted work as of 28th March, according to the nation's top industry regulator.
       （3）今年前兩個月，中國公司在一帶一路48個沿線國家共投資27.2億美元，比去年同期增長18.3%。
       Chinese companies invested $2.72 billion in 48 economies related to the Belt and Road Initiative between January and February, growing by 18.3 percent from the same period a year earlier.
       （4）中國的消費部門正逐步從疫情影響中走出來，主要零售品銷售額3月份比2月份增長7%，電商平臺銷售額增長30%。
       The consumption sector has been gradually recovering from the novel coronavirus epidemic, as the central authorities called for efforts to further release demand in the domestic market and boost household spending.
       In mid-March, sales by key retailers monitored by the Ministry of Commerce increased 7 percent from mid-February. In the same period, the sales on some e-commerce platforms climbed more than 30 percent, according to the ministry.

       （1）美國的經濟刺激計劃是有史以來最大的，但可能還不夠大。最近幾周，美聯儲(Federal Reserve)提供了逾2萬億美元的貸款和資產購買計劃，以防止美國金融體系陷入癱瘓，但它尚未直接幫助實體經濟的大部分領域，包括企業、市政當局和其他信用狀況不佳的借款人。
       U.S. stimulus package is biggest ever, but may not be big enough. The Federal Reserve has offered more than $2 trillion in loans and asset purchases in recent weeks to stop the U.S. financial system from seizing up, but it has not yet directly helped large swaths of the real economy: companies, municipalities and other borrowers with less than perfect credit. 
       （2）周一，油價再次令人瞠目結舌地下跌8%，全球股市再次下跌，人們越來越擔心全球新冠病毒疫情可能會持續數月乃至更長時間。
       Oil took another eyewatering 8% tumble on Monday and world shares buckled again as fears mounted that the global coronavirus shutdown could last for months.

       3月23日，武漢市出臺《武漢市支持企業復工復產促進穩定發展若干政策措施》，力推企業復工復產。

       （1）3月29日，中國工程院院士、國家衛健委高級別專家組組長鐘南山認為，隨著確診病例存量的日趨減少，目前中國大陸沒有太多的無癥狀攜帶者。
       On march 29th, Zhong Nanshan, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and leader of high level expert group of national health commission, said the infection rate is usually very high of those who have close contacts with asymptomatic novel coronavirus carriers. But the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is reducing in the mainland, and that indicates China did not have many asymptomatic novel coronavirus carriers
       （2）美國國家過敏和傳染病研究所所長安東尼·福熙博士在上周日的美國有線電視新聞網采訪中對死亡人數做出了可怕的預測，這場病毒將殺死10-20萬美國人，并補充說美國可能有數百萬人受到感染。
       Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, made the dire prediction of fatalities on CNN on Sunday morning “The coronavirus outbreak could kill 100,000 to 200,000 Americans and adding that millions in the U.S. could become infected”

       疫情初期，紐約州眾議員、副議長奧迪茲發來視頻慰問，他說：“我希望病毒很快結束。我相信中國、相信美國、相信全世界。我們將取得勝利，我們一起祈禱。武漢加油！湖北加油！中國加油！”
       At the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic, the representative and deputy speaker of New York Ortiz sent a video wish. He said “I hope the coronavirus will be as well end soon. I believes China, as well the USA, and around the globe. We will prevail and we together we will pray GO WUHAN, GO HUBEI, GO CHINA!”

       我商會美國聯絡處負責人高娓娓向我會發來慰問視頻。她說:“我是在紐約曼哈頓時代廣場向我們商會的全體成員問好！向正在同疫情做斗爭的祖國人民問好！也向戰斗在疫情一線的醫務工作者表示崇高的敬意！在這里，我衷心祝愿疫情早日過去，祖國的春天更加美好！同時也祝愿中國民營經濟國際合作商會的成員們健康、幸福！”
       Mrs. Gao Weiwei, the Head of Liaison Office of CICCPS in US. also sent us a video wishes at Times Square, Manhattan, New York. She said hello to the people of the motherland who were struggling with the epidemic and also paid high tribute to the medical workers fighting on the front line of the epidemic! She sincerely hoped that the epidemic situation in the motherland would soon pass and the spring in the motherland would be even better! At the same time, she also wished that the members of CICCPS were healthy and happy!

       中國民企在行動
       China private enterprises are taking action!

       3月26日，廣州康齡醫療用品有限公司和江蘇美克醫學技術有限公司向歐盟駐中國委員會捐贈1百萬元人民幣的醫療物資，包括20萬個醫用口罩和1萬個抗體檢測試劑。
       歐盟駐華大使郁白先生對中歐協會在疫情期間對歐盟的捐贈表示由衷感謝。他說，歐盟和中國已經展現出了攜手合作和相互支持。我們的團結就是友誼與合作的最好證明。
       Two Chinese companies，Guangzhou Kangling Medical Supplies Limited Company and Jiangsu Medomics Medical Technology Co Ltd have donated medical supplies worth 1 million yuan, including 200,000 disposable surgical masks and 10,000 antibody test kits to the European Union delegation to China on Wednesday, as the novel coronavirus outbreak has hit Europe hard.
Nicolas Chapuis, the EU delegation's ambassador to China, expressed gratitude for the donation. "The donation will be distributed to EU delegations in Asia as well as to EU member states in urgent need of medical equipment to counter the pandemic," he said in a letter of appreciation to the association. "The EU and China have shown the way in joining hands and supporting each other. Our solidarity is a clear demonstration of friendship and cooperation."

       The international community generally believes that China's resolute and powerful prevention and control measures, outstanding leadership, response ability, organization and mobilization ability, and implementation ability set a model for the world's epidemic prevention. At the Symposium on epidemic prevention and control of the disease control system held on March 29, the National Health Commission introduced the "China plan" for disease prevention and control.  
       把好疫情擴散的“三個關口”
       在疫情防控期間，指導和督促武漢市全面強化社會面管控：
       把好“入口關”，嚴格農貿市場管理，嚴禁野生動物和活禽進武漢；
       把好“出口關”，落實機場、火車站、汽車站、碼頭等地過往者的體溫篩檢；
       把好“聚集關”，最大程度減少公眾聚集等
       Control the "three borders" of epidemic spread, guide and urge Wuhan city to comprehensively strengthen social control during epidemic prevention and control: 
       A）control the "entrance border", strictly manage the agricultural trade market, and prohibit wild animals and live birds from entering Wuhan; 
       B）control the "exit border", implement the temperature screening of airport, railway station, bus station, wharf, etc.; 
       C）control the "gathering border", Minimize public gathering, etc.
